PURPOSE:  The "Space Educators' Handbook" is a Hypercard Program which uses hypercard "buttons," "fields," and "stacks" as organizational tools, allowing quick access to space-related information.

ORGANIZATION:  The basic Handbook organizational unit is the "stack."  Each stack is named for the type of information which it contains
(example:  Astronauts).  Within each stack are individual "cards" which contain specific information related to the subject of the stack.  A stack is simply a "deck" of cards; no two cards are alike.  However, all cards within each a stack deal with the same subject matter.
